Key Stage 3 and 4

  • Aston Hall and the Civil War - activities can focus on the visit of King Charles I in October 1642, or the siege of Aston Hall in 1643.
  • Literacy at the Hall - a wonderful venue for inspiring creative writing, scripts or newspaper reports based on Aston Hall’s characters, stories or ghosts.
  • Inspiration for Art - Aston Hall’s superb ornamentation in plaster, wood and stone is a rich source of design ideas for students. Examples of previous students’ work available.
