This table outlines the fees and charges for Jan 1st – December 31st 2011. The tables are organised into the following categories (click a category to jump straight to that section):

On making a booking arrangements will be made to invoice your school after your visit.

Taught Sessions

Charges for Taught Sessions for Schools (including pre-school and nursery groups) – Payment by Head Unit Charge for Birmingham LEA schools Charge for non-Birmingham LEA schools
Taught sessions on site per pupil
Schools booking per head can make confirmed bookings up to three months in advance (four months in July). Payment by invoice/internal transfer. Cancellation fees apply.
Cancellation - within 2 working days of visit - full price.
Cancellation - within 7 working days of visit - half price.

Schools invoiced/internal transfer at start of each subscription period. Note: schools with subscriptions have priority booking window during first week of any term and may book sessions for any time of the year.

Schools Loans Service Charges - Birmingham LEA Schools

Note: ‘RinR box’ denotes deluxe box developed since 2003 with additional funding.

Also included is 1 taught outreach session with the Schools Loans Officer per annum.
Sessions can also combine a visit to the Museum Collections Centre for no extra charge.
Individually booked Renaissance in the regions box per half term £20.00 - £40.00 per box Delivery of loans boxes will cost £20 per drop off (not per box)
Yearly Subscription to loans service with yearly delivery.
Includes 1 taught session per annum		 £370.00 Up to 4 loans boxes per half term. A combination of redeveloped / newly developed Renaissance in the Regions loans & older loans boxes. Guaranteed 2 RinR boxes per half term if requested.

Delivery takes place during delivery / collections week between 9am-3pm.

RinR or Non-RinR boxes Additional taught sessions (maximum 2 hours) £60.00 Sessions can be for 2 hours, or can be split into 2 x 1 hour sessions. These sessions must take place one after another.
The loans boxes to be used for these sessions must be booked by school.
This taught session can be combined with a visit to the Museum Collections Centre.
Additional charging Late notice delivery charge to Birmingham area £35.00 For failure to collect loans artefacts during collection times
Late notice return of loans boxes £5 per day Charges for failing to return loans boxes. Includes weekends. Return of loans artefacts must be arranged with Loans Development Officer.
Free services INSET FREE Whole schools or individual INSET sessions, either in school or at the Museum Collections Centre.
