This grand house was built 150 years ago for a famous Member of Parliament for Birmingham called Joseph Chamberlain. He held big house parties which meant other rich people came to stay. They would eat breakfast in the Morning Room, play croquet on the lawn or read in the library. In the evening they had lovely dinners with music, singing and dancing.
