These three objects are all to do with shaving. A rich gentleman's personal servant, a valet, would have used them to shave his master.

At the top is a leather razor strop for sharpening the razor.

Below the strop is a cut throat razor with a bone handle. The edge was run up and down the strop until it was very sharp.

At the bottom is a badger hair shaving brush.

The valet would work soap into a lather with the brush and some water . He would then brush the lather on to the master's face before shaving him carefully with the cut throat razor.
